New floating aqua park is offering YOU the ‘dream job’ this summer
7 years ago
Looking to find your dream summer job? Liverpool’s newest summer attraction, The Adventure Dock Co, is on the hunt for skilled and enthusiastic lifeguards to help visitors splash and slide the long summer days away.
Coming to Duke’s Dock on Liverpool’s iconic Waterfront, your new office could be the incredible 92-metre floating assault course, which is made up of over 50 inflatable obstacles in a Ninja-warrior style challenge.
Ahead of the grand opening on the 5 May, Adventure Dock is now searching for full-time and part-time employees to work both on and off the water from April to November, with FUN, as well as safety at the top of their agenda.
Potential new recruits will need excellent team working skills, as well as a pool/beach lifeguard qualification (NPLQ/NBLQ) and experience in previous customer facing roles.
As well as this, desired skills and qualifications include first aid training, a DBS certificate and a safeguarding certificate.
Tim Woodhead, creator of The Adventure Dock, said:
“We are looking to recruit approx. 20 fun-loving but enthusiastic people to work as aqua guides this summer. For anyone who loves water, likes being active and is looking for a job that goes beyond the 9-5, this could be the perfect opportunity.”
We are currently a small but dedicated team and we want to make some life-long memories for both the customers and the staff. We are already busy with enquiries so we would love to hear from anyone who is up for the challenge to get the summer started now.”
Think you have what it takes? You won’t have to wait until May to start the fun, with team leader and long-term full-time employment available within the company from next month.
If you are interested in this summer’s bounciest adrenalin-fuelled job, send your CV to hello@adventuredock.co.uk. Interviews will be taking place the week commencing the 12 March. Those currently working abroad will also be able to complete their interviews via Skype or conference call.
