New Greek restaurant ‘Zeus Taverna’ to open in Liverpool on Castle Street early 2025
1 month ago
Castle Street, one of Liverpool’s most iconic dining destinations, is set to welcome a taste of Greece with the opening of Zeus Taverna in early 2025.
Zeus Taverna will take over the former Boots site at 44 Castle Street, next to Sainsbury’s, in the heart of Liverpool’s bustling business district. The opening follows a wave of exciting developments on the historic street, including the recent arrival of The Ivy.
Inspired by Santorini, Zeus Taverna will serve a delectable menu featuring a mix of tapas-style small plates and Greek classics like Souvlaki and Moussaka. The restaurant aims to deliver a true taste of Greece, offering a warm and vibrant dining experience.
A spokesperson for the new restaurant said:
“We have been looking for an ideal location for the brand for sometime. We feel Castle Street ticks all the boxes for us and is a great location in Liverpool City Centre. We will be looking to open in Winter 2025 and look forward to being part of this historic street, as for us it has become the best food and drink destination in Liverpool.”
Zeus Taverna is expected to open in 2025, with more details about its menu, interior design, and launch plans to be revealed on their website in January 2025.
