New Irish bar The Dubliner set to open in Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter
3 minutes ago
A brand new venue is preparing to open its doors in the heart of Liverpool’s Cavern Quarter this spring.
The Dubliner is taking over the former Revolver site on Temple Court, just off Victoria Street, bringing a fresh Irish bar concept to one of the city’s most iconic nightlife spots.
The Cavern Quarter — home to the legendary The Cavern Club and historic venues including Eric’s — has long been known as the epicentre of Liverpool’s live music scene. Now, The Dubliner is aiming to add a new chapter to that story.
Positioned as a wallet-friendly venue with authentic Irish character and a Liverpool twist, The Dubliner will feature more than 25 Irish whiskeys behind the bar, alongside regular drinks offers.
Operations Manager Jimmy Boland said the vision is rooted in community, music and proper Irish atmosphere.

He said: “As a proud Irishman myself the idea behind The Dubliner was to combine community, music and great craic. Guests can expect all GAA games live throughout the week, as well as Irish rugby and League of Ireland football.”
The venue will feature wooden beams, an original fireplace and what’s being described as one of the strongest bar selections in the city. Outdoor seating will wrap around the Temple Court corner, just in time for the warmer months.
Works are still ongoing, with the team aiming to open in late March. The launch will also create 10 new full-time and part-time jobs.
Jimmy added: “The Dubliner is the perfect Irish bar to watch Ireland play in the 2026 World Cup — if we qualify in the play-offs that is.”
