New Jacaranda pub quiz could win you tickets to sold out music shows in Liverpool
1 day ago
The Jacaranda could be sorting you out with free sold out gig tickets thanks to its brand new pub quiz!
The Jacaranda has announced a brand new pub quiz starting this Thursday with Radio DJ Charlie Anderson acting as Quiz Master. As well as the usual cash prize, winners will have the chance to win tickets to sold out Jacaranda Records shows, the only way to get access to these in demand gigs.
The ‘Jac Pub Quiz’ launches this Thursday, starting at 8pm. Up for grabs at the first quiz are two tickets to James at The Cavern Club, a show that sold out in under 10 seconds last year. If you prefer your pub quiz prizes more traditional, there will also be cash prizes and bar tab options up for grabs.
James at The Cavern Club was Jacaranda Records’ fastest selling show of 2023, and this quiz represents the only remaining opportunity to secure tickets. A total of 65 questions across four rounds stand between teams and a place at the show, or a cash alternative should they choose to take it.

Music rounds, picture rounds and everything in between. The Jac Pub Quiz will run every Thursday night, starting at 8pm, with tickets to sold out shows available at the final quiz of each month!
Sophie Carberry, General Manager of The Jacaranda said:
“This year is going to be huge for the Jacaranda, what better way to kick it off than by introducing our Jac Pub Quiz. The first of some really fun new projects coming this year. We’re all excited to see what’s to come in 2026!”
Charlie Anderson, Quiz Master for Jac Pub Quiz said:
“I have been hosting quizzes for a very long time, but I have never been more excited to start a new quiz than this one at The Jacaranda. Every week we will battle it out to find the most intelligent people in town!”
Jack Rowley, Marketing and PR at Jacaranda Records, said:
“For shows like Olivia Dean, James and Michael Kiwanuka last year, people were asking multiple times a day if there was any way to get tickets, and unfortunately the answer was always no. It will be great this year to finally offer people a glimmer of hope!”
