New pop-up Holy Garage brings Detroit-style pizza to Liverpool
1 month ago
Holy Garage, a brand-new pop-up bar and restaurant, is set to open in the city centre on Friday, 29 November.
Located on Mount Pleasant near the Georgian Quarter and University district, Holy Garage will serve delicious Detroit-style pizza and craft beer.
Located in a grand grade two listed Victorian building originally built in the 1870s, the restaurant will tap into the building’s history as both a former Christian missionary and the location of the world’s first ever YMCA combining the original features with vibes straight from the Motor City.
Open 7 days a week Holy Garage will offer a core Detroit style pizza menu with specials introduced on a monthly basis.
Their rotating craft beer menu offering will focus on the best of local craft beer with the likes of Black Lodge and Carnival alongside other top names from the UK craft brewery scene and brands from further afield.
They will also be the first venue in the UK to supply Shakacan – the premium canned shaken cocktails making waves in Europe.
Games and live sport will also be available in venue with the biggest projector screen in town and regular events to be introduced in the coming months.
To celebrate the opening Holy Garage will be giving away 500 free slices on Friday 29 November between 12-5pm.
You don’t have to do anything, just get get down early and claim your free slice of Detroit pizza – these will be given on a first-come first-served basis, once they’re gone, they’re gone.
