Get ready for an unforgettable challenge where every step you take helps fund groundbreaking cancer research.
North West Cancer Research (NWCR) and KidsCan are teaming up for an exciting event that will test your bravery while raising money for vital research in the region.
This unique event offers two daring options… Face the flames and walk barefoot across burning embers, or tackle the ultimate foot-poking challenge by crossing a path of LEGO bricks.
Either way, it’s a test of courage and determination – all for an incredible cause.
Event Details:
Date: Saturday, 1 March, 5.00pm – 7.00pm
Location:Â Boothstown Village Hall, Worsley, M28 1JF
Registration Fee:Â ÂŁ10
Fundraising Target:Â ÂŁ100 (funds split equally between NWCR and KidsCan)
Age Restrictions: Firewalk:Â Ages 10+. LEGO Walk:Â Open to all ages
Families are encouraged to join in, with an option to add up to two children under 10 for just £5 each when a fully registered adult signs up.
This event supports two incredible charities working tirelessly to combat cancer:
- North West Cancer Research:Â focuses on funding pioneering cancer research in the North West and North Wales, improving treatments and care while striving for a cure.
- KidsCan:Â is dedicated to helping children with cancer, funding research into innovative therapies that reduce harsh side effects and give young patients a better future.
No prior experience is needed – full safety briefings will be provided by trained professionals to ensure all participants feel confident before taking on their challenge.
