Iain Hoskins, Ma Pub Group’s director, says:
“Our two venues open on Sundays – Nova Scotia and Ma Boyle’s – feature the same fabulous Mother’s Day menu for the big day with 2 courses at £20. We’re always focused on quality and value in these two distinctly different settings – Ma Boyle’s is all about intimate celebrations and get togethers and Nova Scotia is great for mixes group sizes and located right by the waterfront. We can’t wait to welcome families and loved ones for Mother’s Day from across the city.”
Set in the stunning Mann Island building in the shadow of the Museum of Liverpool and the spectacular Three Graces on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront, Nova Scotia captures the city’s maritime past since the site opened at the start of summer 2022. It’s little known that at the end of the 19th century, the Mann Island area was previously a shanty-town called Nova Scotia, made up of dwellings and businesses serving the huge ships when the city boomed as a trade destination.
Ma Boyle’s is tucked away off Water Street and nestled by the beautiful St Nick’s church gardens, the venue has seen the city change all around it whilst staying true to its historic maritime roots. It’s a place to escape to for a catch up with friends at lunch through to listening to the latest jazz sounds over the weekend, to fabulous Sunday roasts, cocktails and delicious hearty food by day and night.
