Occasionwear store, Fairytale Endings is hosting a fashion show inside Metquarter

Fairytale Endings, the destination occasionwear store at Metquarter, will host a showstopping fashion show coinciding with The Good Market’s unmissable Christmas shopping event in the centre.

From 6.30pm on 9th December, Metquarter’s ground floor will be transformed into a fairytale of fashion as the store showcases a selection of its prom, party, evening, pageant, bridal and occasionwear.

Customers will also be treated to complimentary prosecco from GPO.

With customers of Fairytale Endings modelling the dresses, the event promises to be a big date on the Christmas calendar. Fairytale Endings’ huge selection of flawless and fabulous dresses for every event promises to provide women of all sizes with all the glam they need this Christmas, New Year, and for red letter dates in 2022.

Fairytale Endings

Gill O’Neill, owner at Fairytale Endings, said:

“Whether you’re looking for the perfect outfit for a Christmas do, New Year’s Eve, a festive ball, a romantic evening or looking ahead to Proms in 2022, we’ve got the perfect dress for you. Our fashion show is going to be bursting with festive glitz and glam and we’ll be in store helping women to recreate their dream looks.

“We’ll also be showcasing some incredible looks for prom season. We offer exclusivity for all our customers, meaning you’re guaranteed to be the only person at your prom wearing your dress. Most of our dresses come in size 4-28, so not only do we have the biggest choice but we’re among the most inclusive stores in the region, too. We just love helping our customers to create their own fairytale moments, whoever they are and wherever they’re heading.”

Fairytale Endings

Fairytale Endings opened its doors in Metquarter in October 2020, but with lockdown quickly following and disruption throughout the year, owners are keen to throw a fitting celebration to mark its arrival.

Gill added: “We’ve been here just over a year and we’ve sold a lot of incredible dresses to a lot of wonderful customers, but we’re all about showstopping events and we’ve been desperate to have one of our own. We really hope that all our customers – and anyone who just loves a bit of glitz and glam – will come along and celebrate with us. We promise you’ll feel fully festive and head home excited to hit all your Christmas parties in style!”

The evening is set to be a Christmas shopping extravaganza, with The Good Market also taking over GPO food hall and the upper level of Metquarter. With traders selling wares ranging from handcrafted cards and homewares to locally made food and alcohol, and even retro football memorabilia, the market will help Christmas shoppers to sustainably tick off items from their lists while supporting local business.

Metquarter’s mix of local label, creative arts and high fashion retailers will remain open throughout the event, turning the centre into a true one-stop-shop for every kind of Christmas shopping. GPO will be serving up a range of food and drink options while Everyman’s schedule includes a selection of unmissable Christmas films in its irresistibly warm and friendly atmosphere.

A gift wrapping station will also be available, helping shoppers to put the finishing touches to their purchases. Gift wrapping will be free of charge, with a suggestion to make a donation to The Trussell Trust.

Jennina O’Neill, Metquarter Centre Manager said:

“Fairtyale Endings is the very best store of its kind in the area – I know that shoppers will be stunned by the looks on display and the massive amount of choice in store.

“We’re all looking forward to a very glamourous event which will marry perfectly with the excitement of The Good Market, also taking over the centre. Shoppers can expect everything that’s magical about Christmas, from glitzy fashion to artists selling handmade cards, and everything in between… all washed down with a glass of good fizz from GPO!”
