Dust off your Lederhosen and dig out your Dirndls, because Punch Tarmey’s is bringing Germany’s biggest party to its fabulous Courtyard this month.
There’ll be live music from one of the UK’s best Oompah bands – The Amazing Bavarian Stompers – games, traditional food – and more beer than you can shake a Bratwurst at!
“It will be a great festival and as always we can promise a fabulous time at The Courtyard,” says Amanda Provan.
“It will be a mix of the true Punch Tarmey’s experience and the real spirit of Oktoberfest.”
Oktoberfest On Tour will be stopping off at the Cains Brewery favourite in Liverpool from Friday to Sunday, September 23-26.
“And we just want people to come in, relax and let their hair down,” adds Amanda. “After a difficult year or so, we’re all ready for a party – and this will be one of the best there’s been for a while.”
The Amazing Bavarian Stompers will kick off the celebrations on the Friday evening, but there’ll be loads more music to follow including rockabilly band, The Swingin’ Bricks, with their brilliant brand of crazy humour and fab tunes on the Saturday evening, followed by Ukebox on Sunday.
You’ll be able to raise a stein – or two – of your favourite German ales to your mates and Mein Hosts and treat yourself to some tasty dishes courtesy of Deutschland – and we don’t just mean (although they’re super) sausages.
“We’re got a new chef and he’ll be creating an Oktoberfest menu offering all your traditional Oktoberfest fayre – like Bratwurst sausages –as well as a few surprises like some special pies,” says Amanda.
“The staff will all be getting into party mood and wearing traditional Oktoberfest dress and, if guests want to join in, we are happily encouraging that. There’ll be the usual fun and games, so we’d love people to come along.”
It’s walk-ins only for Punch Tarmey’s The Courtyard Oktoberfest, so there’s no need to book; all you’ll need is a wristband for £5, payable on the door.
