On Site at Liverpool Psych Fest with Organiser Chris Torpey

Now in it’s fifth year Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia is back bigger than ever before, bringing with it over 100 live musicians & DJ’s, virtual reality, vinyl record stores, audiovisual installations and lots of colour to the Baltic Triangle.
We popped down just as the gates opened on Friday to explore the festival and it’s four venues (Camp and Furnace, Blade Factory, District) and you really do have to experience it to believe it, trust us once you do you won’t want to leave.
Day two kicks off today with gates opening at lunch time and The Horrors headlining the festival this evening at 10pm.
We spoke to one of the Liverpool Psych Fest team, Chris Torpey about how an event like this is put together, and what we can expect from day two of the festival.
