One adult goes free at Knowsley Safari this Mother’s Day Weekend
1 hour ago
Knowsley Safari is celebrating Mother’s Day in style this weekend with free tickets for parents across the weekend.
with one adult per car going completely free – and what’s more, there are so many animal mums and their young to see.
The Safari has sprung to life with new births, with new animal mums settling into motherhood on the famed five-mile-long Safari Drive, as well as the Foot Safari.

Forest Buffalo and Roan antelope calves have been born on the Safari Drive and can be seen staying safe next to their mums. Spirited three-month-old Southern White Rhino calf, Kamari, can also be seen mock-charging in the yard with mum, Bayami.
Also on the Safari Drive, visitors can get up close and personal with the troop of cheeky baboons and their tiny babies, and for those preferring to watch from further afield, there’s a reassuring Car Safe Route – or book the Baboon Bus to experience all the action at no risk to your own vehicle!

On the Foot Safari’s Tiger Trail, Amur Tiger mum, Yuki, will be keeping a watchful eye on her two lively cubs, Akira and Ozo. Now seven-months-old, the cubs are confident in their environment and only too pleased to pose for guests at the huge viewing windows.
Children can create a special seeded Mother’s Day card, which can be taken home to plant, before taking in all the other animals including Andean Bears, giraffes, African lions, camels, capybara and meerkats, among many other species, as well as be enthralled by shows and talks, including the popular Birds of Prey demonstration.

Helena Berry, head of marketing and sales, Knowsley Safari, says:
“Mother’s Day weekend is the ideal time to see many different animals with their young and learn about how our expert animal team support the new arrivals.
“This weekend celebration of mums promises to be packed with adventure and memory making moments – with the added bonus of one adult coming in completely free.”
