Opening date for new Black Cat Club at Exchange Flags announced

A new venue combining premium cocktails, social gaming, and live sports and entertainment is set to open in Liverpool this spring.

Black Cat Club, from Mills Hill Developments – the team behind the award winning tapas bar El Gato Negro – will open its doors at Exchange Flags on 9th May 2025.

Designed for those who enjoy great food, drinks, and interactive entertainment in a sophisticated setting, Black Cat Club offers something for everyone, from daytime get-togethers to late-night socials. Guests can challenge friends to shuffleboard, watch live sports, test their aim at interactive darts, or just sample the menus. A spacious outdoor courtyard, in a sun trap on Exchange Flags, will also provide the perfect spot for summer gatherings.

The venue will also cater to group bookings, making it an ideal destination for celebrations, after-work drinks, and weekend meet-ups, with live DJs adding to the atmosphere.

Fresh from successful launches in Manchester and Leeds, Black Cat Club is all about premium drinks, next-level social gaming, and a slick atmosphere. With shuffleboard showdowns, interactive darts, big screens for the match, and DJs spinning the soundtrack to your weekend.

Taking over the former El Gato Negro site (which has now made a stylish move to Castle Street), Black Cat Club marks a new chapter for Exchange Flags and another bold move from Mills Hill Developments.
