Over 200 travel agents attend Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s huge networking event

More than 200 travel agents from across the North West and North Wales joined representatives from Liverpool John Lennon Airport (LJLA) this week for a dedicated travel trade networking event.
Recognising the continued partnership and support of the travel industry throughout the airport’s record-breaking summer.
Held at The Botanist in Warrington — a key market within LJLA’s catchment — the event brought together retail agents and homeworkers from leading organisations including Hays Travel, Barrhead, Midcounties Co-operative Travel, Not Just Travel, and Travel Counsellors.

A number of key industry partners were also in attendance, including easyJet holidays, Jet2holidays, Transun, Attraction World, Newmarket Holidays, Grecotel, Fred. Holidays and Visit Isle of Man, providing valuable opportunities for engagement and collaboration around destinations and products available from Liverpool.
John Irving, CEO Liverpool John Lennon Airport, welcomed guests and shared an update on the airport’s strong summer performance and ongoing growth, highlighting the key role that the travel trade continues to play in promoting Liverpool departures across the North West and North Wales.
The evening concluded with entertainment and prize draws, reinforcing LJLA’s commitment to maintaining close working relationships with the travel trade community.
