Paddington Bear is heading to Gulliver’s World for a special weekend this June
1 day ago

He’s swapped darkest Peru for Warrington… Paddington Bear is set to visit Gulliver’s World next month for a weekend packed with family fun.
The much-loved children’s character, famous for his duffel coat, battered suitcase and love of marmalade sandwiches, will be making special appearances at the theme park on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June.
Paddington will be popping up at intervals throughout the weekend, giving fans of all ages the chance to say hello, grab a photo, and share in the fun.
First introduced to the world in 1958 in A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond, Paddington has been the star of more than two dozen books, countless TV episodes and two blockbuster movies – with a third on the way. His popularity spans generations, and this rare chance to meet him in person is not one to miss.
Craig Clews, resort director at Gulliver’s World, said:
“We’re so excited to be welcoming Paddington to the park. He’s such an iconic character and beloved by so many families. With the success of the recent films, his appeal is as strong as ever – but he’s only here for one weekend, so we’re expecting a lot of eager fans.”
Tickets for the Paddington Bear weekend start from £25 per person per day, if booked more than two days in advance. Kids under 90cm go free.

Once inside the park, families will have access to more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, including the new Land of Oz zone – featuring two brand-new rides and an upside-down house that promises to turn your world on its head.
Follow the yellow brick road to explore the Upside Down House, jump into a Munchkin Motor, or take flight with the Winged Monkeys. The interactive Upside Down House is already proving a hit with both kids and grown-ups, offering a playful way to bend the laws of gravity and snap some seriously cool photos.
Elsewhere in the park, favourites like the Pirate Ship, Desperado Drop, Gulliver’s Gears, and animatronic dinosaurs will keep thrill-seekers entertained all day long. And if that’s not enough, Gulliver’s daring Overdrive ride – a full 360-degree thrill – is one of the park’s biggest adrenaline hits.
For those looking to make a full weekend of it, Gulliver’s World also offers themed accommodation on-site, including unicorn, cowboy, pirate and sweetie-themed hotel rooms, plus quirky dens, lodges and tipis in the Wilderness Wharf.
