Pasta Cosa set to open new restaurant in iconic Liverpool location
2 hours ago

Independent pasta restaurant Pasta Cosa will open its doors at Royal Albert Dock Liverpool tomorrow (Friday 24 October).
Marking the second site for sisters and co-founders, Kayleigh and Talia Baccino, following the success of their original Castle Street location.
Located on the inner quay, just a few doors down from the sisters’ much-loved cafe, Francie’s Focaccia and Coffee, the restaurant creates a relaxed and welcoming space where friends and families can enjoy freshly made pasta against the stunning waterfront backdrop.

Pasta Cosa dockside will be larger than its Castle Street counterpart, seating around 24 guests inside with space for a further 16 on The Colonnades.
At the heart of the restaurant is an open kitchen, where fresh pasta will be made daily, from classic Tagliatelle to Fusillone, ready to be paired with a range of authentic sauces, including rich Bolognese or a creamy portobello mushroom & spinach. Dishes are further customisable with the option of added extras, such as burrata, cherry tomatoes or prawns, with many ingredients imported directly from Italy to ensure the highest quality.
Staying true to their Italian heritage, the Baccino sisters’ vision is to create a welcoming space where family and friends can gather for delicious, affordable food. This commitment is reflected in the menu, which includes gluten-free linguine and a selection of flavoursome vegan sauces. A simple and tasty children’s menu will also be available for younger diners.
To complement the food, the venue will offer a concise drinks menu featuring Italian favourites like Aperol Spritz and Birra Moretti, ideal for enjoying on an autumn day on The Colonnades with stunning views of the dock.

Kayleigh comments:
“The opportunity to open our second Pasta Cosa site in such a vibrant and historic location is a dream come true. The dock is a fantastic place with a real community feel, and we can’t wait to welcome both familiar faces and new customers to our new restaurant. Our goal is simple, to share our love of fresh, authentic Italian pasta in a place where everyone feels at home.”
Royal Albert Dock Estate Manager, Sean Morrison, adds:
“We’re delighted to welcome Pasta Cosa to the dock. Since opening, Francie’s Focaccia and Coffee has become a much-loved destination for visitors, so we’re thrilled to now also welcome Pasta Cosa into the family. It’s fantastic to see local, independent businesses like this thriving and choosing the dock as their next home, helping to build a real sense of community along the waterfront.”
