Pullman Liverpool Prepares to Welcome Eurovision to the Hotel

The 67th Eurovision Song Contest is set to take over Liverpool this May with the city hosting the event on behalf of Ukraine.

The Pullman Hotel is at the heart of the action on Kings Dock on Liverpool’s iconic waterfront. Located adjacent to the M&S Bank Arena and just a short walk to the vibrant Royal Albert Dock, Liverpool City Centre and The Pier Head – where the official Eurovision Fan Village will be located.

Relax in stylish, elegant surroundings and enjoy the convenience of this premium central hotel, close to all major transport links. If you are attending one of the main shows at the arena or just visiting the city to be part of the historic event and amazing atmosphere – the Pullman is open throughout Eurovision, so come visit us and enjoy all the experiences we have to offer for this unique event.

Superior is our standard here at Pullman Liverpool, with bedrooms still available for Eurovision semi-final dates. Guests can choose from Superior, Deluxe or Suite Rooms, all including rainfall showers, 55″ television with on demand movies, slippers and robe, Co. Bigelow toiletries, and tea and coffee making facilities. Reservations can be made here.

The Pullman Restaurant is open daily for lunch from Friday 5th May (12pm-4pm) and Dinner (5pm-9:30pm) serving delicious dishes created by our Head Chef Dave Rooney, including Beef Carpaccio, Parmesan Cheese and Candied Walnuts (£13.75), Pan-Fried Fillet of Seabass (£22.45), Sticky Toffee Pudding (£7.75). To avoid disappointment reservations are advised, and can be made via the Pullman website – walk-ins will also be accepted subject to availability.

Pullman Liverpool Bar and lounge is also open daily from 12 midday and welcomes non-residents, offering light bites and main dishes, hot drinks and cocktails – including a limited edition cocktail to celebrate Ukraine and Eurovision.

Adding to the Eurovision atmosphere, there will be Live Music each evening in the Bar and Lounge area, performed by local bands and musicians from May 5th until May 13th, 6pm-8pm. To inspire and showcase budding pianists there will be a Grand Piano in the lounge area from Friday 28th April 12pm-6pm everyday – slots are bookable via jblanch2010@yahoo.co.uk. Artists are also welcome to bring their own musician bios and collect tips.

Eurovision flower crown Pullman hotel

The Pullman Hotel has also collaborated with Booker Flowers to host a Flower Crown ‘Vinok’ workshop on the 9thMay. Vinok is a traditional Ukrainian Flower Wreath historically worn as a headdress by young women. Don’t worry no previous experience is required, as professional florists will be on hand throughout the session and all equipment/materials will be provided. The products used for these classes are also sustainable so can be saved and worn at a later date – perfect for the Eurovision Final and Eurovision parties. There is a choice of 2 sessions: 12:00-15:00 or 15:30-18:30, with tickets priced at £60 per person, which also includes a delicious buffet meal and soft drink. Tickets can be purchased here.

Neil Brailsford, General Manager

“We are looking forward to being part of the biggest event in the global music calendar. The team are ready to give our guests an amazing experience that only Liverpool Can!”
