Former site of The Magnet gets new lease of life as QUARRY announces opening weekend

QUARRY has announced that it will open will open the doors of its brand-new home at 45 Hardman Street, the historic site once housing the legendary Magnet & Sink Club on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th September 2025.
To mark the occasion, QUARRY will throw two back-to-back opening parties on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th September 2025, celebrating the city’s vibrant and diverse music scene.
Both The Magnet & The Sink Club were cornerstones of Liverpool’s musical heritage, hosting iconic nights and fostering countless local talents.
QUARRY’s arrival in this storied space signals a new era for the venue, combining deep cultural roots with a forward-thinking, grassroots programme of live music, DJs, and creative events.

From its early days in Love Lane, QUARRY has built a reputation for cutting-edge live music, club nights, and inclusive events and solidified itself as one of Liverpool’s most exciting independent music and arts venues.
The move to Hardman Street cements its place in the heart of the city, offering a 250-capacity, purpose-built basement for live music, multiple event spaces, and high-quality sound in a venue that continues Liverpool’s tradition of world-class nightlife.
Full line-ups for both nights will be announced on the day of each event.
