R CHARITY: We get a glimpse of what a patient’s room will look like at the New Royal
7 years ago

All this week we have been showcasing the great work that some of the area’s health care organisations and hospitals do. On Monday we took you to Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, Wednesday was all about Alder Hey Children’s Charity and today we look ahead to the brand new Royal Liverpool Hospital with R Charity in the hope that we can help with their £10m appeal so that the New Royal goes beyond even the NHS promise of care.
The appeal is all about investing in the latest high-technology equipment for diagnoses and treatments, and create environments that provide fantastic comforts and conveniences for patients and families. Basically making the New Royal a world class hospital, giving the people of Merseyside and the surrounding area much more than just a hospital.
Throughout the day we are talking to fundraisers, staff and patients who are all looking ahead to a much brighter future for the hospital.
First up we join Aimee Clare from R Charity inside one of the mock up rooms that patient’s will stay in at the New Royal
