Randox Grand National unveils special 2026 trophy to mark 10 years of partnership with Aintree Racecourse
2 hours ago
This year’s Randox Grand National trophy has been revealed ahead of the 2026 race, celebrating a decade of partnership between Randox and Aintree and showcasing a design inspired by science, sport and craftsmanship.
The Randox Grand National is watched by millions around the world and is known as one of the toughest and most iconic tests in horse racing. To mark 10 years as title sponsor, Randox has commissioned a special anniversary trophy created in collaboration with luxury jewellery designer Boodles.
The 2026 design blends references to modern science with the heritage of the world-famous steeplechase. Each year Randox commissions a unique trophy for the winner, ensuring every champion lifts a one-of-a-kind piece. As well as the main trophy, miniature replicas are presented to the winning jockey, trainer and groom in recognition of the teamwork behind every victory.

The trophy’s shape is inspired by the double helix structure of DNA, forming the cup’s twisting design. At its centre is a molecular network representing the biological systems Randox works to protect through healthcare research and diagnostics. Engraved details include a steroid nucleus to highlight the company’s expertise in preventative health testing, alongside a flowing line that references the Grand National finish line.
Subtle features have been added to mark the 10-year milestone. Ten diamonds are set around the main trophy and a small engraved number 10 appears inside the cup. At the base, a deep red enamel dot sits on malachite stone, reflecting Randox’s brand colours and completing the design.
As runners prepare to line up at Aintree for the 2026 race, the anniversary trophy stands as a symbol of sporting achievement and a decade-long partnership built on innovation and shared ambition.
