Red Brick Hangar Market is Liverpool’s own version of Wonderland

Curiouser and curiouser, you’ll find all manner of delicious, quirky and vintage things at The Hangar.

Wander down to Cain’s Brewery Village and prepare for a shopping experience of Alice proportions as Red Brick Hangar Market offers antiquities, furniture, clothing, vintage wears, cake and more, all under one historic roof. Amongst the 100 plus traders you can quite easily lose several hours trying on jewellery, checking out brand new art or just having a well earned cuppa.

The Hangar provides a shopping experience like no other and prides itself on being a treasure trove that affords start up businesses the opportunity to hustle and grow in what’s been dubbed ‘the Camden Market of Liverpool’. We’re huge fans of this bustling, evolving site and always seem to find items we never knew we needed (such as LEGO figures, dog birthday cakes and authentic 60’s leather biker jackets).

Imagine Lewis Carroll having a brew and muffin at Red Brick Hangar Market, penning the 2018 version of Wonderland. Rocking a vintage band tee, pair of Nike Air Max and pouring over retro comics from nearby stalls, this is what he might see……

Eat Me, Drink Me

When it comes to sweet treats, you’re totally spoiled for choice at Red Brick Hangar Market. Whether you’re celebrating your unbirthday or looking to shrink down (see what we did there?) you can indulge in cupcakes from the likes of The Sweet Tooth Bakery. Vegans can get their fix from The Nakery and if you’re looking for a little more balance in your diet, go and see Macrobalance Meal Prep for tasty meals delivered right to your door!

No Cheshire Cats Allowed

Red Brick Hangar Market loves dogs, so much so, there’s a stall dedicated entirely to woofers, puppers and floofers alike. It’s All About the Dog offers freshly baked vegetarian cakes, birthday cakes and biscuits for your furry friends. The Cheshire Dog has a nice ring to it!?

Button, Button, Who’s Got The Button?

When it comes to creating your own fashion statement you have to check out Zebra Creations. From stitch and sip sessions to kids super hero masks and capes, hilariously funny cross stitch creations for your home and lots of costume jewellery from down the decades.

If you’re looking to update your winter wardrobe, there’s a whole host of clothing vendors to choose from at Red Brick Hangar Market. Total Recall Vintage offers a wide range of affordable vintage clothing and accessories from 1940’s-1990’s for men and women while The Whitechapel Centre Charity Shop rails are often stocked with contemporary brand from Topshop, Asos, Zara and Urban Outfitters. High street gems for less, count us in!

I Think She Looks Like A Rose

The phenomenal tale of Alice in Wonderland would’ve been nothing without the trippy landscapes that Lewis Carroll dreamed up and Red Brick Hanger Market has it’s own urban jungle offering. Both ROOT and Bloom Room offer beautiful succulents, fresh cut flowers, bouquets and tonnes of plants to brighten up your home. Ohh, go on, treat yourself.

Would You Like A Little More Tea?

The Mad Hatter would feel right at home at Red Brick Hangar Market’s Penny Dreadful Artisan Bakery. This tea shop doubles up as a brilliant place to hang out and sells amazing local art work too. Expect old school furniture, seriously tasty cake, freshly brewed tea and plenty of room for all your mates. No moving down and no mice in the tea pot!

Off With Her Head

Or just decorate it with vintage jewels even the Queen of Hearts would approve of! Check out Lammings Lair for all the gorgeous vintage jewellery and sparkly treasures. You might even find a white rabbit-esque pocket watch!

Why Is A Raven Like A Writing Desk?

Has anyone ever actually figured this out? Well, we don’t have the answer but at Red Brick Hangar Market, you can buy a writing desk! Sarah Jones Antiques, Arts & Curios offers a range of items to deck out your home: from classic antiques, to the quirky and surprising! So worth a mooch. Vintage telephone anyone?

Who Are Youuuu?

Did you know you can enjoy a bit of me time at Red Brick Hangar? Therapeutic Love offers a full range of services to help restore your calm, from Reike to massage and more. If you’re in need of a chill you can take home, head to the Hemp Emporium and stock up on hemp tea bags and oils for a caterpillar like zen!

This is just a small snapshot of the huge array of stalls at the Red Brick Hangar Market and we totally encourage you to head down to the Cain’s Brewery Village to check it out for yourself. It’s already receiving rave reviews. One Facebook fan said: “Ambitious, innovative and interesting. You could easily disappear for hours in here!”

Open 7 days a week (and until 8pm on Thursdays), Red Brick Hangar Market features over 100 unique traders to create a one-of-a-kind retail experience.
