Red Carpet glamour arrives in Liverpool at the star-studded launch of Jenny Kenny Designer Dress Agency

You can now get your hands on a bit of La La Land glamour in Liverpool

There was a star-studded party in Allerton last night (Thursday 12th October) as the Grand Opening of Jenny Kenny Designer Dress Agency drew fashion fans in from across the city.

Stocking carefully selected, pre-loved items from luxury designers such as Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood and Gucci, Jenny Kenny Designer Dress Agency proves that sustainable fashion doesn’t have to be boring. The Briardale Road store, just off the famous Penny Lane, stocks high-end women’s clothes, shoes and accessories and is a real paradise for Liverpool fashionistas.

The launch was attended by stars of Channel 4’s Hollyoaks including Nick Pickard, Sarah Jayne Dunn and Alex Fletcher.

Having grown the idea of a dress agency from living in LA, sisters Jenny and Alison wanted to give Liverpool girls a big dose of quality designer label fashion at a fraction of the price. The Penny Lane store is now stocked with all the great names a fashion fan could dream of. From Louboutin and Jimmy Choo shoes, to Christopher Kane sports luxe and D&G gowns, there’s a diverse choice of items for sale and the stock is constantly changing.

We caught up with Jenny Kenny herself for a chat about the event and what it’s like being surrounded by gorgeous clothes every day.

Jenny said: “Everyone knows us scouse girls love a designer label and we’re delighted to be able to make high end fashion more accessible. We opened a few weeks ago and already the Liverpool girls are going crazy for the top quality items we have on offer.

“Some of our clients invest in key designer pieces to wear once, and so the dress agency gives them something back on what was a big spend and another fashion fan has the opportunity to own a luxury item. Individuality is everything as there’s only one of each piece in stock.”

Jenny added: ” Both my sister Alison and I have spent a lot of time in the States and fell in love with a little boutique dress agency on Melrose in LA. The idea of bringing a bit of Hollywood, La La Land glamour back to Liverpool just made perfect sense. Already we’ve had clients who’ve come in to try gowns on for a special occasion and we’ve popped a bottle of fizz to make it a really fun experience.”

Selling your pre-loved, quality clothing with Jenny Kenny Designer Dress Agency couldn’t be easier. Simply take your items in to the Penny Lane store to be considered for sale. You’ll be issued with a receipt and invited back to collect your balance. Shoppers are invited to browse all current stock between 10-5pm, Tuesday to Saturday and 11-4pm on Sundays.
