Royal Albert Dock: ‘Shake it off’ with Taylor Swift special activities and events

Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is rolling out the red carpet to welcome Taylor Swift as she arrives in Liverpool this month.

To celebrate the world-famous artist Taylor Swift, Royal Albert Dock has organised a series of exciting activities, including the return of its Time to Shine podiums, spectacular selfie spots, themed bottomless brunches, and more.

From June 14 – 15, visitors are invited to shake it off at The Albert Dock with the return of the much-loved Time to Shine Podiums.

Originally appearing during Liverpool’s hosting of the Eurovision Song Contest last year, these podiums will be set up in front of the Martin Luther King Jr Building.

From 12.00pm – 2.00pm, on Friday, the event will be hosted by Leanne Campbell, and on Saturday by Claire Simmo. Swifties can dance the day away to Taylor’s chart-topping tunes and battle it out to be crowned the winner.

The dock also has two art installations inspired by different Taylor Swift eras.

In Britannia Courtyard, visitors can find 7ft tall butterfly wings inspired by the singer’s debut album. Meanwhile, in Anchor Courtyard, the dock’s giant hearts will receive a pastel makeover complete with rainbows and flamingoes, creating the perfect pre-gig selfie spots.

For those looking to make a day of it, The Dock’s selection of venues will host a series of themed events.

Start the celebrations early with a trip to Revolucion de Cuba for their Swiftie Bottomless Brunch on Friday, June 14, offering 90 minutes of bottomless drinks and sing-along classics, all topped off with a confetti cannon.

Or you can head to Revolution on Sunday, June 16, for The Eras Brunch, complete with two hours of bottomless cocktails and all the best Swiftie anthems.

For those with a creative flair, The Nest will offer free Taylor-themed colouring-in sessions. Visitors can also pick up an outfit accessory ahead of the concert.

Following the success of their Eurovision window display, The Nest will feature a life-size Taylor Swift cut-out, perfect for a memorable pre-show snap.

Royal Albert Dock Liverpool is excited to be part of the city’s warm welcome to Taylor Swift. Whether you’re dancing on the Time to Shine podiums, snapping selfies with the art installations, or enjoying a themed brunch, there are plenty of ways to celebrate Taylor’s visit.
