The Royal Liver Building’s visitor attraction, RLB360, has been shortlisted for a major audio-visual award for its spectacular digital showcase inside the historic clock tower.
The tourist attraction, operated by Heritage Great Britain, takes visitors on a tour of Liverpool’s most famous building and treats them to a unique interactive video which is projected onto the building’s internal clock faces.
Designed by the international digital experience company Holovis, the projection showcases key moments from the city’s history – highlighting major sporting events like the Grand National and celebrates Liverpool’s rich musical heritage with 3D archive footage.
Anyone else witnessed this yet? The projection inside @RLB360 is a MUST-VISIT!!!

Heritage Great Britain has been shortlisted for the Visitor Attraction Project of the Year ahead of the digital awards ceremony which will take place on 25 June.
Commenting on the award nomination, Chris Devaney from RLB360, said:
“Holovis did a brilliant job in bringing this audio-visual experience to life. It celebrated landmark moments from Liverpool’s history through the eyes of the Royal Liver Building.
Visitors tell us that they are wowed by the experience and many tell us that they are moved by it too. We are all proud to be nominated. Although we are temporarily closed right now given the restrictions on movement and social distancing measures, we are looking forward to sharing the RLB360 attraction once again as soon as we can. It is something that everyone from Liverpool or with a connection to the city should experience.”
RLB360 has also been nominated for two Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.
The attraction recently shared an insight into the tour for people to enjoy during the lockdown which is available across its social media channels @rlb360.
