Run for the 96 will take place virtually for 2021 – sign up here

Run for the 96 will once again be held in virtual form for 2021 due to the ongoing global health pandemic.
The event which has become a staple in Liverpool’s event calendar and famous for binging reds and blues together in memory of the 96, was due to take place on Saturday 22 May.
In a statement sent out today race organiser Alan Rothwell from BTR Liverpool says:
“It is with great regret that we cannot join together in Stanley Park… but we can still celebrate the day by once again running either 5K or 1 mile virtually.
Last year we had a fantastic virtual turn out with people running across the globe supporting the official event charities who will again be the LFC Foundation, the Jamie Carragher 23 Foundation, Everton In The Community and Stanley Park C.I.C.
Nothing can replace the sense of occasion that we all have when we congregate in Stanley Park and there is nothing better than the sight of reds and blues coming together on this very special day – but the virtual option does allow supporters from across the globe to get involved and Remember The 96.
It is a very special day for us all and we hope that you can once again join us on Saturday 22nd May.”
