Santa’s Secret Forest set to bring Christmas magic to Merseyside

Get ready for a magical new addition to the region’s festive calendar, as Santa’s Secret Forest makes its North West debut this Christmas!

Running from Friday 21st November to Wednesday 24th December, this all-new experience promises a festive adventure like no other — packed with Christmas nostalgia, modern magic and plenty of photo-worthy moments.

Set across 16 acres of beautiful woodland at Orrell Hill Woods, Ince Blundell, Santa’s Secret Forest is set to become one of the region’s most immersive and Instagrammable Christmas experiences — designed for families to create memories that last a lifetime.

Santa’s Secret Forest

Your journey begins with Chief Planning Elf, Pixel, who will guide visitors along a glittering woodland trail towards the Christmas Hub — a spectacular 30,000 sq ft wonderland where the festive magic really comes alive. From the moment you step into the Grand Lobby, Santa’s cheerful elves will be there to greet you and get the fun started!

From there, hop aboard the Tinsel Town Express — a custom-built, old-fashioned steam train that transports passengers through a twinkling winter landscape, arriving at the bustling Sleigh Garage and the high-tech North Pole Command. Here, little ones can watch Santa’s elves hard at work managing the sleigh routes, weather patterns, and (of course!) the Naughty or Nice list.

The adventure continues with a visit to Santa’s Mailroom, where children can write and send their letters to Santa via a giant magical chute. Then it’s on to The Workshop, where the elves are busy crafting toys for children around the world, followed by a trip through the mesmerising Time Tunnel and the festive North Pole Departures Lounge.

Families will then take the Magic Elevators straight to Santa’s house for a personal meeting with the man himself — and to find out if they’ve made the Nice List! Afterwards, it’s back to Santa’s Secret Forest, where guests can visit Santa’s real reindeer and explore Merrywood Market — a charming woodland courtyard filled with festive treats, gifts and seasonal cheer.

Jay McMahon, Creative Director, said:

“As parents we wanted to create something truly memorable, and unforgettable  for children. An experience as magical as the North Pole closer to home, that was affordable to all so that families could make Santa’s Secret Forest part of their Christmas tradition and make memories children can carry with them forever”

Tickets start from £15 for the Light Trail, with General Admission tickets ranging from £34 to £64 depending on date and time of booking (plus booking fees). VIP packages are also available for an additional £100 per person, with flexible payment options. On-site parking is available.

Brought to life by a top creative team, with decades of experience delivering some of the UK’s most spectacular large-scale events and festivals, Santa’s Secret Forest promises to be a must-visit festive highlight.
