Seaforth at The Municipal Hotel unveils new menus inspired by Liverpool’s global story
16 minutes ago
A new season of dining has arrived at The Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool as signature restaurant Seaforth launches a fresh collection of Spring/Summer menus.
Set inside The Municipal Hotel, a landmark Dale Street building, Seaforth’s latest offering takes inspiration from Liverpool’s history as a global trading hub, bringing together locally sourced ingredients with flavours and techniques from around the world.
At the heart of the restaurant is its à la carte menu, designed as the main dining experience. Guests can expect a mix of British produce and international influence, with dishes ranging from pan-seared scallops and king prawns to mains including lamb with a scouse croquette and miso-glazed cod.

A standout Josper grill section adds another layer, with premium cuts like salt-aged beef fillet and bone-in sirloin cooked over charcoal for a rich, smoky finish. Desserts include chocolate delice, salted caramel crème brûlée and pineapple tarte tatin, alongside a selection of British cheeses.
For something more relaxed, the ‘Time to Dine’ menu offers a flexible daytime option. Available Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 6pm, it’s designed for everything from business lunches to pre-theatre dining, with guests able to choose one, two or three courses. Dishes include seasonal soups, burrata, eggs royale and lighter mains like sea bass and pasta.
Those looking for a more immersive experience can opt for one of Seaforth’s tasting menus, which guide diners through a multi-course journey of the kitchen’s standout dishes. A vegetarian version is also available, with optional wine pairings carefully selected to complement each course.

Sunday dining also gets an upgrade, with a refined take on the traditional roast. Expect classics like roast sirloin with Yorkshire pudding alongside alternative options including sea bass and gnocchi.
Behind the bar, the drinks menu reflects the same global influence, with a mix of classic cocktails, premium wines and Champagne, alongside locally inspired touches including a Liverpool-brewed pale ale.
Housed within the historic Municipal building, Seaforth continues the venue’s legacy as a place for people to come together – now reimagined as a destination for dining, culture and experiences in the heart of the city.
