Sefton Council launches Spring 2025 ‘Sefton Crowd’ funding for community projects

Sefton Council has announced the Spring 2025 round of Sefton Crowd, a crowdfunding initiative in partnership with community fundraising platform Spacehive, designed to bring community-led projects to life.
Sefton Crowd provides funding and support to local individuals and organisations, offering up to £5,000 from Sefton Council’s Community Transition Fund to support a variety of initiatives.
These could include projects that:
- Enhance neighbourhoods
- Strengthen community connections
- Increase skills and confidence
- Create lasting positive change
How to apply
To help residents understand the process and maximise their chances of success, Sefton Council and Spacehive are hosting a free public launch event.

- How to access funding and apply for support
- The crowdfunding process and key dates
- Tips from Spacehive experts on running a successful campaign
Local groups and individuals are encouraged to register for the event here.
