Sefton Park Palm house celebrates it’s own wedding anniversary

Sefton Park Palm House is celebrating fifteen years of hosting magical wedding moments in Liverpool.

Since its restoration and reopening in 2001, the picturesque venue has showcased over 800 weddings and continues to welcome on average 60 ceremonies per year to its unique venue.

Senior Events Manager at Sefton Park Palm House Rosemary Sorrell said: “It is so rewarding to reflect on the past fifteen years whereby a huge number of happy couples have enjoyed the Palm House as a unique and memorable wedding location, and with many more planned for the future we’re certainly excited about what’s to come.

“We have also seen wedding trends constantly changing, and we have noticed a significant increase in guest numbers and a notable rise in multi-cultural weddings, particularly fusion weddings incorporating elements from different cultures. This makes for a unique day for both wedding couples and their guests, and it’s a pleasure to assist the couple in turning their ideas into reality for their dream wedding.”

The iconic venue, located in the heart of the idyllic Sefton Park, continues to maintain its prominence as a UK wedding destination of choice and regularly welcomes wedding couples from across the world to its award-winning venue. In 2015, it was named ‘Suburban Wedding Venue of the Year’ in the Eat, Drink, Sleep Awards.

Rosemary added: “For each and every couple, our professional wedding team is on hand through the first to the last steps of wedding planning to ensure that our brides and grooms to be can create their dream day to remember.

“Perhaps most rewardingly, we often welcome back couples who married at the Palm House who return on occasions such as anniversaries and special dates to admire our scenic backdrop and indulge in many happy memories.”

Sefton Park Palm House plays host to regular wedding open days, allowing couples to peruse a variety of the venue’s approved caterers and preferred suppliers such as florists, photographers and lighting companies.

The venue is currently offering 20% off weddings booked for January, February and March 2017.
