The much-loved Mowgli Dog Show is back at Claremont Farm this weekend, bringing two days of dogs, food, fun and fundraising – and it’s all in support of Claire House Children’s Hospice.

Now in its seventh year, the Mowgli Dog Show takes place on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June at Claremont Farm in Bebington, Wirral. Described by Mowgli founder and CEO Nisha Katona as “Glastonbury for pet lovers”, the show is a celebration of everything we love about our four-legged friends – and every penny of profit goes directly to Claire House, helping children and families who need it most.

Nisha said:
“The Mowgli Dog Show is my favourite day of the year. Dogs bring joy, loyalty and love to our busy lives, and this show brings everyone together in celebration of them – all while supporting the incredible work done by Claire House. Thanks to everyone who’s supported us over the years, we’ve raised over £300,000 for the hospice so far.”

Sponsored by Liverpool John Moores University, this year’s event promises to be the biggest yet, packed with entertainment for the whole family. If you’re heading down, here are seven things you won’t want to miss:

1. Amazing food and drink
Come hungry – the Mowgli Dog Show is known for its top-tier street food. Grab a bowl of Mowgli’s signature butter chicken or chickpea curry, and explore a variety of other delicious eats to keep you fuelled throughout the day.

2. Funfair and kids’ activities
There’s loads going on for the little ones, with funfair rides, games and interactive activities to keep them entertained all day.

3. Dog competitions
Whether your pup is best dressed, best behaved or the ultimate sausage catcher, there’s a competition for them. With 10 canine categories, you can enter your dog on the day and see if they bring home a rosette.

4. Craft and pet stalls
Shop your way around the many independent stalls offering everything from dog accessories and gourmet treats to handmade crafts and homewares.

5. Live music
Enjoy a great line-up of local artists performing across the weekend. Sit back with a drink, soak up the sunshine and take in some brilliant live tunes.

6. Agility displays
Watch some seriously impressive pups show off their skills on the agility course – fast paws, big jumps and plenty of tail-wagging action.

7. Miniature ponies
Meet some adorable miniature ponies – guaranteed to be a big hit with kids and animal lovers alike.

The Mowgli Dog Show is the perfect day out for dog lovers and families, whether you’re bringing a furry friend or not.
