A group of ten young guests from Henshaws will be VIP guests of Disney On Ice, which arrives at the M&S Bank Arena Liverpool from 16th to 19th March 2023.
Henshaws is a North-West based charity that supports people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to go beyond expectations as they believe that, wherever they are, everyone has the right to an independent and fulfilling life. Their support, advice and training enables people and their families to build skills, develop confidence, help each other, and look forward to a more positive future.
This week, some of the Disney On Ice cast have been to visit Everton Women at Finch Farm.
The youngsters have been invited to attend a private behind-the-scenes afternoon tour, enabling exclusive access to costumes, props and show characters, as well as hearing how the exciting ice spectacular is produced from the sound, lighting and special effects teams.
That evening, the guests will take their seats to the show, alongside their families, to experience this glorious ice spectacular with Mickey and his friends at Disney On Ice presents Discover the Magic, an adventure filled with world-class skating, high-flying acrobatics and unexpected stunts.
Mel Cooke Head of children, young people and family services at Henshaws said:

Disney On Ice is magical to many children and to enable these young people to share this experience with their families and make lasting memories is priceless.”
The children were told about their VIP surprise trip to Disney On Ice at an afternoon tea party, hosted by Henshaws at St Vincent’s School for the blind in Liverpool.
