Sound City boss pays tribute to Viola Beach
8 years ago

Liverpool Sound City’s Dave Pichilingi spoke to us today about the tragic loss of Warrington band Viola Beach and their manager Craig Tarry over the weekend. The lads played the festival last year and were booked to play the main stage of Sound City 2016 in May.
A campaign is underway to get ‘Boys that Sing’ to number one, and there is news today that an unheard EP could also be released.
Dave told us how Sound City plans to celebrate Viola Beach with some form of special tribute at the festival, and he reflects on a band that “were on the cusp of something really fantastic.”
