Sounds Familiar brings its big party music quiz back to Liverpool

Get ready to test your music knowledge and dance the night away because Sounds Familiar, the UK’s biggest and best music quiz, is heading back to Liverpool this year.

After selling out events up and down the country, the hit London-based quiz night will be taking over Kaiserkeller on three dates this autumn — Friday 12 September, 3 October and 7 November, running from 6.30pm to 11pm.

Sounds Familiar isn’t your average pub quiz. Described as a party disguised as a music quiz, it’s the ultimate night out for anyone who loves a throwback tune and a bit of friendly competition. Expect 100 massive hits packed into every session, with rounds covering chart classics, indie anthems, old skool bangers and guilty pleasures from the 60s right up to today.

If you’ve never been, you might have seen them at Glastonbury where they’ve played more times than Bowie, or at festivals like Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh. They’re known for selling out nights across London every week, and now they’re bringing the same energy to Liverpool for three unmissable nights.

DJ and Sounds Familiar owner Al Scott said: “Liverpool’s legendary music history and fun vibe is a perfect match for Sounds Familiar and we can’t wait to be back.”

Tickets are £10 per person and you can book individually or in a group if you’re rounding up your mates. Each event has a capacity of 100 so get in quick if you want to grab a place.

Get ready for plenty of singing, dancing, cheering and belting out your favourite tunes — with a bit of quizzing thrown in for good measure.

Sounds Familiar at Kaiserkeller is set to be one of the best music nights in the city this autumn.
