Southport Air Show will make its return this July as thirteen thrilling and iconic RAF aircraft will take to the skies on Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th July.
Back to their nine-aircraft display for their 60th Diamond year, the RAF Red Arrows will be visiting on both days of Southport Air Show to put on their sparkling display. And the three classic WWII planes of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the solo RAF Typhoon, will also be soaring though the town’s seafront skies.
Cllr Christine Howard, Sefton Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Skills said:
“It’s great that during English Tourism Week, we can announce the appearance of so many amazing aircraft at the Southport Air Show, an annual event that see thousand flock to the town.
“As we get closer to July, we will be announcing the other aircraft that will make up the two days’ thrilling display schedules and more details of the ground attractions, which include flight simulators, static aircraft climbing walls and an assault course, too.”
Tickets for the Southport Air Show went on sale in January and are usually snapped up quickly. General entry for under-16s is free and for people over 16, is just ÂŁ12, with a reduction for groups of 10 or more.
