STEPS musical HERE & NOW is coming to Liverpool Empire in 2025

Happiness is only a heartbeat away as beloved pop sensations STEPS bring their very own musical, HERE & NOW to Liverpool

UK pop sensations STEPS are bringing their brand-new musical HERE & NOW to the Liverpool Empire Theatre next year!

After wowing audiences in Birmingham during its debut run, the STEP-tacular show will embark on a UK and Ireland tour from August 2025 through to May 2026, with a ‘stomp’ right here in Liverpool.

Fans can look forward to a production filled with STEPS’ greatest hits, paired with an exciting new storyline.

HERE & NOW is co-produced by the band, ROYO, and music legends Pete Waterman and Fascination Management, with an original script by Shaun Kitchener.

With an all-star team behind the scenes, HERE & NOW promises to be a celebration of love, friendship, and all things Steps.

Set in the seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, it’s Friday night, and the store is alive with music and dancing. But for Caz and her friends, the summer of love takes a dramatic turn when betrayal and secrets come to light.

Can they turn their heartbreak into hope, or has their shot at a happy ending slipped away?

“We’ve searched for the perfect story for our music and we’ve found it in the aisle of a seaside superstore where four friends set out on their own Summer of Love.

“It’s a story of friendship, romance and community: packed with our biggest hits and sure to have everybody laughing, crying and dancing in the aisles. We can’t wait to open the doors this year, and see you there!”

This rollercoaster of emotions is set to the unforgettable beats of STEPS’ iconic hits like Tragedy, One for Sorrow, Deeper Shade of Blue, and 5, 6, 7, 8.
