SunExpress announces new route from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Antalya

SunExpress, the renowned joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, is set to elevate travel options for Liverpool residents and tourists with the launch of flights to Antalya in Türkiye in 2025.
Beginning April 6, 2025, SunExpress will operate three flights a week from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Antalya, offering travellers direct access to one of Türkiye’s most sought-after destinations. Bookings for these highly anticipated flights are now open, with prices starting from an attractive £69.99*, including checked baggage.
This expansion marks a significant milestone for SunExpress, which currently operates 136 flights per week from 9 airports across the UK. With services from Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, Leeds Bradford, London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Newcastle, and London Stansted, SunExpress is dedicated to providing exceptional value and convenience to passengers.
SunExpress offers a range of ticket fare options with the basic SunEco option including at least 20 kg of checked baggage on international flights.
For small additional payments, passengers can upgrade to SunClassic and SunPremium fares with added benefits such as increased baggage allowance, pre-flight seat selection, inclusive onboard meal and the ability to amend bookings without extra charge.
