Take That are BACK!

One of the UK’s most successful bands, Take That, have today announced their return with a huge stadium and arena live tour for 2024 alongside news of their ninth studio album This Life, set for release 24th November.

To celebrate the news further, Take That have also unleashed their brand-new single Windows which is out NOW!

This Life On Tour will see the trio – Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – play 29 dates across 15 cities around the UK and Ireland. They will be joined on the tour by very special guest, Olly Murs.

Take That This Life On Tour 2024 will be coming to Manchester Co-op Live May 7, 8, 10, & 11.

SEVEN BRO7HERS BREWING CO will front an exciting new food and drinks pop up arriving at Princes Dock, Liverpool Waters.

The dockside space is designed for after work drinks, local resident hang outs and as a new extension of the Liverpool docks. SEVEN BRO7HERS, which also has a beerhouse in Wolstenholme Square, will front the 20ft unit that has a capacity for 100 and is situated in a prime location at the far end of Liverpool’s Princes Dock.

The bar, which will open on the 22nd September, is an ongoing collaboration between SEVEN BRO7HERS and Peel’s Liverpool Waters aiming to bring more footfall to the area that has undergone huge development with new apartments, offices, business space as well as retail and leisure. The area is also closely located next to the cruise shipping docking station on the River Mersey as well as being a short walk from the busy Liverpool business district.

With regular events planned out across the 8-week pop-up, the space will encourage more traffic down to the far end of the Liverpool docks. Events include ‘Thirsty Thursdays’ for nearby businesses to network whilst enjoying beer, snacks and paddle boarding, Bloc Party for apartment residents in local complexes to make the most of the new venue on their doorstep and Oktoberfest as a celebration of all things beer.

Tucked away near Liverpool’s iconic Anglican Cathedral lies a hidden treasure… the city’s sole natural spring!

You may have noticed the spring at St James’ Gardens in the shadow of the Liverpool Cathedral, but have you ever wondered about the story behind it?

This remarkable spring was once believed to possess incredible healing properties.

The year was 1773 when quarrymen stumbled upon the Chalybeate spring, named for the iron contained in the water. Nestled on the eastern fringes of what we now know as St James’ Gardens, just below Hope Street, this area was then a rural landscape that supplied much of the stone for the grand edifices taking shape in the city.

Comic Con is back next month at Exhibition Centre Liverpool! 🤩

The creators of Golf Fang are set to open unique karaoke concept in the heart of the city this September.

Step into a world of music, technology and nostalgia, all amidst a neon-lit Tokyo city. It’s a sonic slam of music and machine.

Rooms start from £7pp Sunday - Thursday, £10pp Friday & Saturday. Pre-booking is advised but walk-ins are available.
Currently 4 karaoke rooms, with additional rooms planned further down the line.

Each room has a fridge where guests can pre-order a ‘fill yer fridge’ package in advance which is either a full fridge, half fridge or quarter fridge. Drinks will be chilled and waiting for guests on arrival in the booked Karaoke room. Additional drinks can be ordered to the rooms via QR code.

All Big Fang Karaoke’s drinks have been specially designed to elevate the senses and amplify the immersive karaoke experience. Tate Liverpool is set to temporarily move out of its Royal Albert Dock home for a major reimagining of the amazing waterfront venue.

But before it does, we’ve all got a chance to celebrate the place that gave us three and a half decades of the best contemporary art on Merseyside.

It’s party time at the Royal Albert Dock, because while Tate Liverpool might be closed while it undergoes a transformation to create a new and even more dynamic space, it’s issuing an invitation to visitors to mark 35 years of incredible art and exhibitions – and look forward to better yet to come!
