Take a Dream Ride this summer and support Claire House Hospice
5 years ago

The Albert Dock will welcome super cars of all shapes and sizes for a fundraiser with throttle.
Get ready to tour the city like a super star as Claire House Hospice hosts Dream Rides to raise funds towards vital support across the Merseyside region. Sporting Bears will arrive at the Albert Dock on 2nd-3rd June 2018 with a mix of classic and sports cars to offer families, mums, dads, kids and the big kids the chance to donate to Claire House Children’s Hospice and enjoy a 10 mile Dream Ride out of the historic dock, along the Waterfront.
Claire House families have the opportunity to be the first to enjoy a Dream Ride with donations ranging from £10 upwards depending on the car you choose, between 10- 3.30pm each day. Each donation will be for the car ride, not per person, so the Rolls-Royce Dawn will take 3 people out for the single donation. Of course the Ferrari only has one passenger seat!
There will be an appearance by UK Event’s, Stig, on both days, thanks to the Albert Dock he will be available for selfies, he’s not much of a talker though! Static cars will be on display with Jordan F1 race car (TBC) for smaller kids to sit in and experience life in the fast lane as a F1 driver and of course the lovely Claire Bear will be full of smiles and ready for plenty of pictures. Merseyside Fire and Rescue will have a Fire Tender and rescue equipment on display whilst the usual attractions on site will be in full swing, including the vintage carousel.
