The Bentley Liverpool open in style
The Bentley Liverpool, on the junction of the Strand and Brunswick Street Liverpool City Centre, has now opened to rave launch night reviews. After 7 months of hard work the venue welcomed over 350 guests on Friday 15th September.
With a complete redevelopment two brand new event spaces- the Port of Liverpool room and the Cunard room have been created on the Strand. The Cunard room is built for cabaret, comedy nights and stage performances, while the Port of Liverpool looks out onto the Unesco World Heritage status waterfront and is ideal for weddings and celebrations.
Over nearly 3000 sq feet and catering for numbers from 50 to 500 guests, the venue is a much needed addition to the event and exhibition market for the city. Soon this will be added to with another floor to be added above containing a cocktail bar and the jewel in the crown top floor, the city’s most opulent roof terrace looking out with fantastic river and waterfront views.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception, canapés and a great line up of entertainment which included Soul Jam, DJ Liam Hinks and an impromptu performance which got guests up dancing from this year’s X Factor fans favourite Anthony Russell.
A spokesperson for the venue commented “We have created an events space in the heart of the business district of Liverpool to cater for business needs, private events and one off shows. After seeing there was clearly a gap in the market in Liverpool our research found that not all customers want weddings in the same old hotels and that the offering for cabaret, supper clubs and speciality shows sparse in the city. So we set about on adding to our downtown based site, which already contains Tom Halls Tavern and the Argentinean Meet restaurant. We would like to thanks all our guests for making our official launch a huge success and will be announcing some great nights in the venue over the next couple of week.”
