The Brooklyn Brewery Tour is coming to Liverpool and there’s loads on
5 years ago
This month, Brooklyn Brewery have announced they will be coming to Liverpool as part of ‘Brooklyn On Tour’.
The award-winning brewery have scoured the city to unearth the best up-and-coming street food chefs, DJs and artists and will be collaborating with local legends, Frijol, DJ Breakwave and street-artist Neil Keating to host the city’s most creative party.
Brooklyn Brewery will be bringing their tour bus to the garden at The Great Baltic Warehouse on 22nd September where the first 200 guests will enjoy a free Brooklyn beer. With free entry, Brooklyn On Tour aims to get back to how craft culture should be experienced – no overpriced tickets, no booking fees, no warm lifeless beer, just a good time with great music, great art and great food.
To throw the ultimate craft party, Brooklyn Brewery is collaborating with the very best food, music and art talent Liverpool has to offer. One of the newest additions to The Baltic Market is Frijol, who are bringing an authentic taste of Mexico to Merseyside. Founders Sean Robinson and Bec Duggan left their previous jobs to pursue their dream of opening a restaurant six months ago and will be bringing traditional Mexican flavours to The Great Baltic Warehouse this month, including a special one-off dish for the event.
Liverpool based DJ Jessica Beaumont, AKA Breakwave, will be taking to the decks too.
Chris Moore, Brooklyn Brewery’s Brand Ambassador for Liverpool says:
“Brooklyn On Tour is all about finding the very best craft talent in Liverpool, as one of the UK’s most creative cities. All our local partners are incredible local legends who represent the city through their authentic and creative work. Brooklyn Brewery has always been a proud supporter of food, art, music and community efforts and collaborating with creative characters and legendary independent venues like The Great Baltic Warehouse is what we enjoy most. We can’t wait to see what they come up with on 22nd September.”
The Brooklyn Brewery tour bus is kitted out with a fully-functioning bar and space to seat up to 12 beer lovers. The bus also has a serving hatch that will pop open to serve guests a range of Brooklyn Brewery’s finest brews including the classic Brooklyn Lager and the refreshing and flavourful Summer Ale. There will also be the chance to try some of the brewery’s limited-edition beers, rarely available in the UK.
