The first ever Albert Dock Food Festival – FEAST takes place this September

Are you ready for a weekend-long, family-friendly food festival like no other? It’s all eyes on the Albert Dock.

Royal Albert Dock Liverpool has announced an incredible programme of jam-packed activities for its brand-new, free food and drink festival, FEAST, taking place from 7-8th September 2019.

Offering a variety of chef demos, interactive masterclasses, children’s activities and much more spanning over the two days, this festival will showcase the amazing food and drink line up at the Dock, encompassing some of Liverpool’s finest and most innovative independents.

Kicking off the festivities on the Saturday will be a series of chef demos, each situated on the floating pontoon by The Colonnades’ inner quay. Celebrity chef and broadcaster, Andi Oliver, will be hosting the demos, with the likes of Rosa’s Thai Cafe, Maray, Gusto, Lunyalita and TATE Eats showing off their culinary skills and whipping up a series of tasty dishes.

Visitors can roam around the bustling inner quay at their own leisure and explore the great selection of food, drink and lifestyle stalls which will be situated in-front of the individual restaurants, bars and retailers. Offering a lip-smacking array of innovative small plates with street food influences, the Dock will bring together far-flung flavours from all over the globe with a range of exotic cuisines.

From indulgent pasta dishes at Gusto, Maray’s renowned cauliflower, authentic Spanish paella from Lunyalita and hearty pies from the Pie Port, there will plenty of options for guests enjoy over the weekend. Thirsts can be quenched with a range of creative cocktails, mocktails and soft drinks, including everything from alcoholic shakes at Peaberry Coffee House & Kitchen, speciality rum cocktails from Smuggler’s Cove, Tequila concoctions from Panam, and even limited edition Haring cocktails from TATE Liverpool.

In addition to food and drink, The Nest, Mi Apparel and Leather Satchel will have lifestyle stalls with local artwork, plants and accessories to browse through. At the Nest, Art-lovers can get their hands on complimentary bespoke prints, and professional sign-writer, Harry Mytton, will be doing live sign-writing on the windows with input from customers using their favourite Scouse words.
