The Good Market is back at Dovedale Towers this weekend
3 years ago
Good Market is set to take over the Dovedale Towers, Penny Lane, L18 this coming Sunday, June 12th, 11am-4pm.
With Father’s Day just around the corner, what better way to support local, independent businesses?
Step away from your typical, last-minute gifts and towards a thoughtful piece that will make his day.
Better yet, bring him along and let him choose for himself. With a wide array of pints, pies, Freddie Mercury trivia, The Dovey (as it’s affectionately known) is a dad-friendly spot.
With Good Market’s specially curated events, the team have ensured that you will have everything you could possibly need is at your fingertips. Pick up Father’s Day cards, LFC prints, hot chilli sauce, alcohol, and every sweet treat under the sun.
As with everything Good Market does, there’s a lot of good vibes to go around. Working with purpose-driven brands that work to better their community, source sustainable wares and fight against invisible barriers that may hold them back, the Good Market is all about uplifting deserving independents.
And, in the spirit of doing good, this coming event sees Good Market join forces with Open Door, Allerton. The shop supports The Whitechapel Centre, a leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region.
2020/2021 saw them work with near 4000 people, all of whom were homeless, socially excluded or in housing poverty. With a goal to ensure individuals do not slip through the net of provisions, The Whitechapel Centre work 365 days a year to offer dedicated support to those in difficult situations.
Head to the Good Market to see what services they offer, find out how you can support them and find some gorgeous pieces so you can look good whilst doing good.
If the weather predictions are to be trusted, it’s set to be a gloriously sunny day, so get down, bring the family, support independent and the venue is dog friendly too!
