You can shop til’ you drop this weekend at Metquarter as The Good Market returns with a host of local independent stalls.
The GOOD Market will be setting up in Liverpool’s largest Food Hall, GPO this Saturday 30 April, with 25 of Liverpool’s best small businesses. In partnership with both GPO and the Metquarter, the GOOD Market is taking the chance to set up in Liverpool City Centre and shine a spotlight on small businesses in the shopping hub of the city.
Among the big-hitters and the business giants that can be found in the city centre will be local legends flying the flag for Liverpool and independent businesses. Well known names such as Lost Dock Rum, Zest Limoncello, LV Apothecary and Grey Collective will be among those attending with everything including art, jewellery, clothing, drinks, homeware and more being showcased.Â
Organisers say “it’s the beginning of a revolution of Liverpool’s shopping scene, where quality, independent businesses are celebrated, allowing them to grow, keeping money in the local economy and crucially, allowing you to get your hands on quality, unique, small batch goods.”
As well as great stalls there will also be live music from local DJ duo, Coffee & Turntables, playing smooth, soulful classics that will have you bopping while you’re shopping. GPO Food Hall, will also be open, giving you a pick of 11 independent kitchens dishing up delicious street food from across the world.
