A special tribute to a very special lady

Margaret Aspinall, was rightfully awarded the Woman of The Year award last week by Prime Minister Theresa May at a ceremony in London. Margaret has spent the last 27 years campaigning for justice after her son, James, was among the 96 victims who died at the Hillsborough  tragedy in 1989.

Earlier this year, Inquests into the death of the 96 Liverpool supporters killed that day, found that there had been no wrongdoing by the fans, and that Police inadequacies were to blame. Margaret has campaigned alongside fellow Justice for the 96 members with the utmost dignity for near 3 decades, and now she has finally been awarded with a be-fitting accolade for her work.

What a truly remarkable woman.

Although the event was last week, there is still time to donate to this amazing cause. Check out the gangs Just Giving page here. The target is £3,685 with the page currently sitting on £1,989, so chuck them a few quid to spur them on!
