The magic of Christmas brought to life on Victoria Street by UK Events & Union 22

Our minds were blown earlier this week when we first seen the Christmas display above Union 22 on Victoria Street. Watch above as we find out all about it.

UK Events Group and Union 22 have collaborated to bring a traditional Christmas scene to Liverpool – with huge video-wall installation, soundscape and snow machines.

Knowsley based UK Events Group were approached by Union 22 designer menswear boutique, as they had seen their previous work on large scale projects such as the launch of  Liverpool 2, and knew that the company were a creative production team who could execute their brief to magical perfection

James McMahon, of UK Events Group said “Christmas is about magic and making memories to cherish, Liverpool is full of beautiful architecture but in this day and age people are too busy looking down at their phones. I wanted to people to stop in their tracks and be blown away by what they were looking at and I think that this installation has achieved our objective”.

John Cooper of Union 22 said “I lived in New York for 4 years and The Christmas spirit is there in abundance.  Coming back to Liverpool I’ve always wanted to do a large scale project that was a showstopper and I knew UK Events Group were the ones to do it.   We are all very proud of the project and can’t wait for people to see it and get their feedback when they come into store.

UK Events Group and Union 22 have teamed up with Radio City’s Cash for Kids Mission Christmas – every child deserves a present for Christmas so they are asking to help a local child by buying one additional present this year or if you aren’t able to get to a drop off point Text City to 70808 to donate £5.

The installation runs all day throughout December with a 2 minute show on the hour, and half past the hour with audio between 8am and 9pm – where if you’re lucky you may see Santa in his workshop!!
