The music, magic and comedy shows coming to Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres over the next few months

As blue Monday rolls around there’s an abundance of music, magic and comedy at Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres to enjoy this Spring. Coventry’s finest comedian, Guz Khan brings his new stand up show.

The infectiously vivacious Judi Lover presents her first official tour and Suzi Ruffell shares everything she loves about Snappy.

Keith Brymer Jones spins his potters wheel on stage and Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Magical Bones brings his spellbinding tricks to Liverpool too.

Guz Khan’s new show Guz Khan Live comes with his big-screen persona and BAFTA-nominated hilarity to the Playhouse on Saturday 28 January. His television credits include BBC’s Man Like MobeenLive at the Apollo; C4’s Taskmaster and The Last Leg; Dave’s Hypothetical; and Netflix movies Army of Thieves and The Bubble.

On Friday 17 March Magical Bones, who made the final of Britain’s Got Talent with his audition logging over 10 million online views, brings his new show Soulful Magic, packed with some of the most awe-inspiring and high-energy magic you’ll see this year.

Judi Love regularly appears on the ITV talk show Loose Women; C4’s Taskmaster; and BBC one’s The Graham Norton Show. On her first official tour, The One Like Judi Love comes to the Playhouse on Saturday 18 March, taking everyday situations, adding her unique perspective, she turns them into something hilarious.

Multi-award nominated comedian Suzi Ruffell brings her new show, Snappy, touring to the Everyman theatre on Friday 28 April. Suzi’s 2021 tour show Dance Like Everyone’s Watching gained her a nomination for Best Stand Up Show at the National Comedy Awards. In Snappy, she brings her own way of observational storytelling to delight the audience.

Fans of The Great Pottery Throwdown cannot miss Keith Brymer Jones‘ visit on Saturday 20 May. In Keith Brymer Jones Live: Life, Clay and Everything he shares life stories with his wife, actor Marj Hogarth. Taking the audience on a journey through shapes, he gives an exclusive on-stage demonstration of his much-loved pottery wheel and shares his advice and top tips about working with clay.

There’s also a regular programme of music, comedy and spoken word every Thursday downstairs at the Everyman. On the first Thursday of the month, A Lovely Word features a headliner and open mic poets. Mellowtone presents an intimate night of music every second Thursday. With Reel tours mega movie quiz every third Thursday and comedy night Fem De La Femmeis every fourth Thursday.

There are also regular Murder Mystery Evenings too from DBY Interactive. So put down the remote, get your friends together and come down to the Everyman and Playhouse theatres for plenty of shows to bring a smile and boost your mood.
