Camp and Furnace is hosting a performance of ‘Amy Winehouse: An Orchestral Rendition’

The Untold Orchestra are donating tickets for the show to underprivileged people in the city

A special orchestral Amy Winehouse performance will take place at Camp and Furnace this weekend.

The popular Liverpool venue will host a 30-strong cast of musicians from The Untold Orchestra, who will then deliver a set of classic Amy Winehouse songs in celebration of the iconic artist.

The night will also feature special guest singers alongside the orchestra, performing the late singer’s greatest hits.

Camp and Furnace director Paul Speed explained this will be a performance to remember while detailing the philanthropic efforts the group are making to donate tickets for the show to underprivileged people in the city.

“This is cabaret at the very highest level,” Paul said.

“The Untold Orchestra aims to break barriers, introducing people to a new world of music they haven’t experienced before and as part of that work they donate tickets to people who may not have necessarily been able to afford to see their show.

“This really will be an incredible evening celebrating one of the most iconic and legendary artists of our time, showcasing well-known songs in a way never heard before.”

The Untold Orchestra aims to make the orchestral world more accessible, and leave a lasting impact in communities where they perform.

The event Amy Winehouse: An Orchestral Rendition takes place at 8pm on Saturday, January 29, and will be a four-hour spectacle of entertainment.

Previous events featuring The Untold Orchestra include renditions of hits from The Beatles, Motown, Disney and Stevie Wonder.

Early bird and second release tickets have sold out but for more information and the latest ticket release, which start at £17.50 plus a £1.75 booking fee, visit the website HERE.
