The Ship Inn in Rainhill reopens its doors after huge refurbishment

After a 4-week refurbishment, the Ship Inn in Rainhill, Merseyside is opening its doors to customers once again.

Guests can look forward to a brand-new look that’s both stylish and cosy, with every detail designed to make the Ship Inn feel like your home away from home. From a refreshed circular bar area and plush new seating to a brand-new function room and refreshed beer garden, every corner has been carefully crafted to give you the perfect place to relax.

Whether you’re joining them for a well-earned pint, a catch-up with friends, or a hearty Sunday roast with the family, the Ship Inn is ready to welcome you back in true Ember Inns style – warm, relaxed, and made for memorable moments.

And with their great value fixed-price menu, you can enjoy three courses from just £13.79 between 12pm – 5pm, Monday to Friday, and for £16.49 after 5pm.

The Ship Inn has updated its menu to include a wide range of dishes from pub classics to your new favourite, such as Grilled Seabass Fillets, Maple Glazed Belly Pork and Fisherman’s Catch. While for dessert you can try the delicious Biscoff Sundae or the much-loved classic Chocolate Fudge Cake.

There is also a fixed price Sunday lunch menu with up to three courses available, including Pork, Leek & Apple Stuffing or Roast Potatoes and Gravy for only £7.00.

Located near to the M62 between Warrington and St Helens, the Ship Inn is a great place for families to eat, drink, and relax after a long day exploring Knowsley Safari Park, Hough Green Park, and the many attractions to be found in Liverpool.

As part of the refurbishment the Ship Inn is proud to unveil its newly refreshed new function area, making the pub the ideal venue for events such as weddings and birthdays as well as private business meetings. The new function room has a capacity to comfortably seat up to 40 guests or the room can be opened up for larger events such as Christmas parties, offering flexible options for any occasion.

Guests can also choose a delicious selection of hot, cold and savoury buffet options when booking the function room. The pub offers the signature buffet from £14.99 and the classic buffet from £13.49.

Four-legged friends are also welcome at the Ship Inn as the pub has a dedicated dog-friendly space in the bar and garden areas, along with water, treats and towels available on request to ensure they are as comfortable as their owners.
