The Watering Can is celebrating the ‘Return Of The Roast’ with free drinks

Liverpool’s most loved Sunday Roast is back on the menu at The Watering Can from Sunday 13th October through to Spring 2025.
To celebrate the ‘Return of the Roast’ the team at the Watering Can will welcome the first 100 guests with either a complimentary glass of wine or a chilled beer!
Booking lines are now open for the much anticipated ‘Return of the Roast’ with tables filling fast. The roasting trays are out, the home-made gravy recipe has been tweaked to perfection and the best Yorkshire Puddings in Liverpool are back on the menu from next weekend!
The legendary traditional roast which has been lovingly referred to as being ‘As good as ya ma’s’, see’s customers travel from all over the north west to enjoy. Diners can choose 3 courses for £34 or 2 courses for £27. The new menu is packed full of flavours using locally sourced suppliers for fruit and vegetables and includes a wide choice of dishes from Picky Bits and Starters, to Roasts, Sides and Desserts.
The ‘star of the show’, the Roast, incudes Hereford salt-aged beef rump, Free-range Goosnargh chicken supreme, Rare breed porchetta (stuffed with Cumberland sausage and apple sauce), or a Wild mushroom and nut roast with butter beans, chestnuts and cranberry), all served with the finest, crispiest, roast potatoes, maple glazed carrots, green vegetable medley, Yorkshire pudding and the richest home-made meat or vegetable gravy. A selection of tasty sides are available to accompany the Roast dishes including The Watering Can’s famous truffle cauliflower cheese and Creamed cabbage with caraway, with extra roast potatoes and gravy also available.
This year also sees the addition of a selection of tastebud tantalising home-made desserts including a traditional sticky toffee pudding with cinder toffee and salted caramel sauce topped off with delicious vanilla ice-cream, Lemon posset, with lemon meringue and limoncello gel, and a classic, tasty, Tiramisu, made with boudoir fingers, Crosby coffee, masala wine, vanilla mascarpone and dark chocolate.
