The Watering Can in Greenbank Park has unveiled its Christmas cracker of a roast.
The iconic “Roast as good as ya ma’s” has been given a dazzling festive makeover, ready to delight guests from Sunday 23rd November to Sunday 14th December.
For four weekends only, diners can indulge in The Watering Can’s best festive roast yet, a homemade celebration of rich flavours, premium produce, seasonal favourites, and the unmistakable magic of Christmas. Served in the venue’s beautifully dressed, twinkling surroundings, this year’s festive offering promises an unforgettable dining experience.

Crafted with the finest quality ingredients, the Christmas Roast takes centre stage as the true star of the season. The Watering Can’s Head Chef has created a heart-warming feast that captures thespirit of Christmas with every bite. Guests can enjoy:
Slow-roasted Norfolk Black Turkey Breast with Cranberry & Sage Stuffing
Salt-aged Hereford Beef Rump
Chestnut & Cranberry Gourmet Roast (vegetarian)
Each served with towering Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables, golden roasties, all the trimmings, and rich, velvety gravy.
Guests can enjoy a sumptuous 3-course set menu with a welcome drink for just £42, or indulge in 2 courses and a drink for £36.

Homemade festive sides are also back, including favourites such as Pigs in Blankets, Truffle Cauliflower Cheese, and Roasted Buttered Sprouts with Pancetta.
While the Festive Roast takes the limelight, the menu boasts an irresistible supporting cast of starters, including Chrimbo Wings, Celeriac Remoulade, Festive Fondue, and the Head Chef’s top pick: Salmon Beetroot Gravalax.
