The world-famous Cavern Club is back and audiences have been enjoying the return of live music at the iconic Liverpool venue. Here’s what else you can expect at the venue this summer.
The Cavern reopened its famous doors last month and the sound of live music has returned seven days a week. Doors open daily at 11am and you can check out the full live music schedule here.
There are plans to bring back more of the venue’s much-loved attractions and events including International Beatle Week and the beloved Cavern City Tours’.
There’s also a brand new Cavern Club Beatles show in the Cavern’s Live Lounge from 25th June. And with them, they introduce Adam Hastings as their new ‘John Lennon’.
On joining the band Adam says:
“It’s such an honour to be joing the Cavern Club family. Having toured all over the world and lived in America, it feels amazing to be coming home to England and joining great musicians and friends that I have known for over a decade, in the home of The Beatles.”
Hastings, renowned for performing his world-class and accurate portrayal of John Lennon in UK and American tribute bands The Bootleg Beatles and The Fab Four, joins the Cavern Club Beatles following the departure of Jimmy Coburn in 2020.

Additionally, plans to bring International Beatleweek Festival back to fans to experience with all their senses is very much still in place this August. Show themes include 50th Anniversaries of releases “Let It Be’ (The Beatles last album) which was postponed from 2020, and John Lennon’s iconic ‘Imagine’.
Events director Jon Keats says:
“We have a great programme in place and much to celebrate this year. We will be aiming to follow this schedule as much as we can whilst ensuring we adhere to any Government guidelines and safety advice and that may still be in place by the end of August.
We know that there will be restrictions in some countries that may mean many fans and artists are unable to travel this year, however, the festival will take place and for those who cannot be here, we will do our very best to bring the festival to them virtually”.
Event and tour tickets are available to book online and customers are advised to check the ‘Know Before You Go’ information on www.cavernclub.com for regular updates regarding covid-safe operational measures and customer requirements before booking.
